My Spiritual biography in 250 words, Sep 2012

I’ve been a spiritual seeker for many years on various paths. My greatest inspiration to seek comes from a desire to know the deepest truth about things and who we are,
although part of my story is also one of the suffering that brings desire for freedom. I'm active as an organizer in spiritual groups both online and in person. Finding the realization of unity to be an individual path, it is also inspiring to follow it with a group of similarly minded people. My teachers include Shantimayi, Adyashanti, and Thupten Jinpa (Dalai Lama’s official Tibetan translator), and I have been guided by the teachings of Buddha, Ramana Maharshi, and Nisargadatta. Other influences include Jesus, Osho, and the Law of One book series. I believe that by cultivating a great desire to spiritually awaken, we may open the mind to empty awareness and the heart to divine love, and that only when these are both satisfied through dedicated effort can we attain full realization. This understanding has been made clear to from dialogues with numerous teachers said to have spiritually awakened and in my own contemplations. What is spirituality? It is simply the recognition of that which is missing, and the pursuit to discover it. All paths from the heart lead to One, yet awareness of Unity is not the final enlightenment; it is not even close. Seeking to realize the absolute incomprehensible must never cease.
