Categorizing spiritual teachers

Opens a line of inquiry about teachers: getting stuck in their teaching (static teaching), lacking capacity to deeply experience or analyze (superficial teaching),
or passing on other teachings as their own without having experienced them directly (false teaching). All of these could be considered "impaired teachings," yet can be forgiven as the teacher may be genuinely attempting to be of service to others. This is aside from the special category of self-serving teachers, who are knowingly fraudulent (deceptive teaching). This is not simply intellectualization, but based on observations that can shared and that are potentially useful to others. Let the student have a more informed choice of teaching, and not operate on sometimes misleading intuition or faith.
