Preparing for new investigations

After 3 days away from this blog, I'm relaxed, and wound down from the unfolding of my recent mind explorations and dense essays. I'm turning attention more to
finding a being or beings to connect to that can authenticate, share, or in some way find it interesting to ponder ideas on the deepest level. There is risk that I will end up in a small boat far off shore with no sight of the mainland. There is most definitely a spiritual teaching mainland here, and a status quo. There are finite boundaries to expressing the infinite. Does it have to be that way? It is time for them to be stretched. Is it that the teachings are limited, or are the students out of reach? I'm studying the current writings, which seem to be circular, repeating simple metaphors. I will turn attention to the classical texts, and beyond Nisargadatta, and Ramana. Isn't it curious that we may have to admit that today's satsang doesn't reach the scope and depth of what was written more than 2,000 years ago? I will find out, and drawn now to the formidable Lankavatara Sutra. Watching always for flashes of ego, delusion, and veiling of the Great Heart. But somewhere, somehow, there must be a trigger to pull that will launch seekers into the unknown, with courage, and with love. We must keep heart fullness, mind emptiness is vanity without it.
